Former evidence clerk identified as victim in Billings crash

Rawlyn Strizich, the woman who tragically lost her life in a recent accident on Highway 310, was identified as a former evidence clerk for the Billings Police Department. Carbon County Sheriff Josh McQuillan confirmed Strizich was driving a Ford Fusion south on Highway 310 when she veered into oncoming traffic and collided with a northbound Kenworth truck. The truck driver sustained minor injuries. Strizich, who was not wearing a seatbelt, had a controversial past, having been fired in 2018 for stealing over 1,000 pills from police evidence. This incident sparked a scandal involving three Billings police officers who were found to have engaged in inappropriate behavior with Strizich while on duty or on police property.
