Football player Adarius Hayes injured in Florida accident that claimed 3 lives, including 2 kids

Miami Hurricanes linebacker Adarius Hayes was involved in a tragic accident on Saturday in his hometown of Largo, near Tampa, which resulted in three fatalities. The collision occurred when a Dodge Durango, driven by Hayes, collided with a Kia Soul. The victims of the crash were identified as 10-year-old Jabari Elijah Solomon, 4-year-old Charlie Herbert Solomon Rivera, and 78-year-old Gail Price. Herbert Rivera, the front passenger of the Kia, sustained serious injuries and remains hospitalized. The incident is currently under investigation by the Largo Police Department's Traffic Homicide Unit to determine the cause, including the possibility of speed being a factor. Adarius Hayes, who suffered non-life-threatening injuries, is recovering in the hospital. The University of Miami has not yet issued a statement regarding Hayes' condition or the incident. Hayes, a promising young player, had a successful freshman season at Miami and had garnered attention from various top college football programs during his high school career at Largo High School.
