Two-Vehicle Crash on Redwood Avenue Sends Emergency Crews to the Scene FONTANA, Calif. (May 16, 2025) — A two-vehicle car accident happened Friday afternoon in Fontana on Redwood Avenue, near Randall Avenue, leaving at least one person with injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP). The crash occurred at approximately 2:04 p.m. on May 16th in the 9200 block of Redwood Avenue. Initial reports indicated that one of the drivers was still inside their vehicle and attempting to remain calm, reportedly trying not to go into shock. CHP officers confirmed that two vehicles were involved: a white Mercedes and a Toyota RAV4, both sustaining major front-end damage. The collision temporarily blocked traffic lanes, prompting authorities to request multiple tow trucks to clear the scene. An ambulance responded to transport at least one person to a hospital.
