Florida woman seriously injured in rollover crash on I-91 in Wallingford, police say
WALLINGFORD — A Florida woman was seriously injured in a one-vehicle crash Saturday night on Interstate-91 north, Connecticut State Police said Sunday. The woman was traveling in an unknown lane headed north on I-91 near Exit 15 at 7:39 p.m. when her vehicle veered left off the roadway into the center of the median, state police said. The car rolled over, striking numerous trees before coming to rest in the tree line, police said. The 38-year-old woman had to be extricated by the Wallingford Fire Department and suffered serious injuries in the crash, state police said. She was taken to Yale New Haven Hospital, police said.
