
Florida pedestrian killed in fatal Twin Span crash
A man from Tallahassee, Florida has been identified as the pedestrian who tragically lost his life in a fatal accident on the Twin Span bridge. The individual, Errol Douglas Cain, 61, was fatally struck by a car on April 30 at approximately 9:45 p.m. The St. Tammany Coroner's Office determined that Cain's passing was the result of accidental blunt force injuries. The incident occurred on I-10, Twin Span Bridge, between Irish Bayou and Ole Spanish Trail. The Louisiana State Police reported that a 2021 Chevrolet Malibu was traveling eastbound on the freeway when Cain entered the left lane and was struck under circumstances still being investigated. Despite emergency medical services responding promptly to the scene, Cain was pronounced dead. The investigation into the details surrounding the incident remains ongoing.
