Five people injured in helicopter crash near Huntington Beach hotel
A helicopter accident occurred on Saturday in Huntington Beach which resulted in five individuals being taken to the hospital. Emergency response teams from the Huntington Beach Police Department and Fire Department arrived at the scene on Pacific Coast Highway and Huntington Street. According to a police department social media post, two people were rescued from the helicopter while three others sustained injuries on the street. Authorities closed off a section of PCH between Beach Boulevard and Huntington Street, advising motorists to steer clear of the area and find different routes.
