In Milam County, Texas, a three-vehicle accident on Tuesday afternoon resulted in five individuals sustaining injuries. A Toyota RAV4 driven by a man from California entered Highway 77 from FM-908, colliding with a Lexus SUV driven by a woman from Frisco. The impact caused the Lexus to veer into the southbound lanes, where it was struck by a Chevrolet Silverado. Five people were taken to the hospital with incapacitating injuries, including the drivers of the vehicles involved in the collision. The incident led to lane closures on Highway 77, but as of Tuesday evening, all lanes have been reopened. The Texas Department of Public Safety continues to investigate this incident.
