Fiery multi-car crash at North Main auto repair shop, nearby home damaged
ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Three cars at an auto repair shop were set ablaze after a driver first crashed into a home and then the parked cars on North Main Sunday night. Authorities said a woman was hospitalized following the crash, which occurred around 8:30 p.m. just south of Auburn, at N. Main and Churchill Street. Damage was seen to the front steps of a home in the 1200 block of North Main. Next door, three cars were destroyed in a fire in the parking lot of North Main Auto Services, at 1275 N Main Street. Rockford Fire was on the scene for more than an hour on Sunday night, and all lanes of North Main were shut down to traffic. DEVELOPING...
