Fiery crash kills one on Knox Bridge Highway in Cherokee County
A tragic incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon on Knox Bridge Highway near Fieldstone Drive in Cherokee County resulting in the loss of life. The Cherokee Sheriff’s Office reported that a Chevrolet truck caught fire, leading to the death of the male driver. The fire was extinguished by firefighters, and no charges have been filed as the Traffic Enforcement Unit is investigating the crash. The second driver involved, operating a Dodge truck, was unharmed and cooperated with authorities. The name of the deceased has not been disclosed pending notification of family members.
