Fiery Cape Cod crash results in driver's severe injuries
A driver was taken to the hospital early Sunday after being injured in a fiery car accident on Cape Cod. The crash occurred in Falmouth, Massachusetts, in the vicinity of Ashumet Road and Route 151. Emergency responders discovered the vehicle on fire following a collision with a tree. The driver, who was the only person in the vehicle, received aid from a bystander before emergency teams arrived. The bystander, David Panora, shared that he responded to the crash upon hearing it, helping to move the driver to safety. The driver, who suffered multiple serious injuries, was transported to St. Luke's Hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the crash.
