FHP seeks vehicles in deadly Volusia County accident
Authorities in Volusia County are appealing for information regarding a tragic hit-and-run incident that occurred overnight on U.S. Highway 92. A man lost his life in the crash, which transpired near DeLand Municipal Airport. The victim was hit by a passing vehicle, fell to the ground, and was then struck by multiple vehicles. The 54-year-old Deltona resident was declared dead at the scene. The first vehicle's left side mirror hit the man, after which the driver and additional vehicles fled.
