FHP investigates fatal crash in Lake County
A driver is dead after driving off the roadway and overturning before being engulfed in flames on Sunday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. This happened around 2:45 a.m. near County Road 474 east of Bruno Road. According to FHP, a 2008 Mazda 3 was traveling westbound before it ran off the roadway to the right and overturned. The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene. The Medical Examiner's Office will contact FHP once they have identified the person, a news release said. The crash remains under investigation.
