Father reports daughter for deadly incident with TSA worker

The father of a 19-year-old woman who allegedly hit and killed a TSA officer in El Paso back in September, reportedly brought his daughter to the police station, as revealed in court documents obtained by KTSM. The incident took place when 52-year-old David Carmine O’Connor was biking and was hit by a car driven by the 19-year-old, Vivian Padilla. Sadly, O’Connor passed away at the scene. Padilla fled from the scene without providing assistance. El Paso Police investigated the incident thoroughly and traced vehicle parts back to a Kia Soul. Padilla's father eventually brought her to the police station, while other family members advised against speaking to the police without a lawyer. Investigations led to findings of possible bloodstains on Padilla's car and belongings, connecting her to the crash. Following a further probe through call records, Padilla was arrested and charged on Nov. 3, later posting bail the next day.
