Fatality in Burrillville Construction Accident
A tragic accident occurred in Burrillville, Rhode Island where a North Smithfield man, identified as Robert Leech, passed away following a construction incident. Emergency services were called to Sherman Farm Road after witnesses found the 64-year-old construction worker unconscious on the basement floor. Reports indicate that Leech had fallen 10 feet through a stairway opening before hitting his head on the concrete floor. Despite being rushed to the hospital, he succumbed to his injuries.
