Fatality as North Iowa Motorcyclist Collides with Semi
A tragic incident occurred on Wednesday morning near Charles City, resulting in a fatal collision between a motorcycle and a semi-truck. The Iowa State Patrol reported that the crash took place on US Highway 18 East around mile marker 211, just after 9 am. Regrettably, the 66-year-old motorcyclist from Garner lost their life in the accident as they pulled out into the path of the semi. The driver of the semi, a 24-year-old from Caledon, Ontario, Canada, remains unnamed. The authorities, including the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office, Charles City Police, Floyd Fire Department, and AMR Ambulance, responded to the scene.
