
Fatality as 19-year-old dies in three-car collision near Upham
A tragic incident occurred on Saturday night near Upham involving a three-vehicle collision, leading to the death of a 19-year-old man from Bottineau. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the accident took place at around 11:45 p.m. on 80th St N, where a disabled 2006 Freightliner semi-truck was partially blocking the westbound lane with its emergency lights activated and warning triangles displayed. A 2008 Ram truck was assisting in repair efforts in front of the semi when a Chevrolet Silverado traveling westbound crashed into the back of the semi-trailer, resulting in the fatality of the Chevy driver. Thankfully, the semi was unoccupied, and the individuals working on the truck were unharmed in the incident.
