Fatalities from multi-car collision on I-99 in Blair County
UPDATE: The Blair County Coroner's Office was summoned to UPMC Altoona at 11:24 a.m., where 38-year-old Edward Tarrant Jr. of Harrisburg was tragically pronounced deceased following injuries from the I-99 crash. The cause of death has not been disclosed by Coroner Ray Benton. An investigation is being carried out by the Pennsylvania State Police. The highway has been reopened. In Blair County, PA, a portion of I-99 Southbound is currently shut down, resulting in anticipated traffic delays.
