Fatalities and injuries in Sunland Park pedestrian incident
A pedestrian accident occurred in Sunland Park late Thursday night, resulting in one fatality and another person severely injured, according to Sunland Park Fire officials. The incident took place at the intersection of Sunland Park Drive and Appaloosa Drive around 10 p.m. on Thursday. One individual was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of serious injuries. Although all lanes at the intersection were closed temporarily, they have now been reopened.
