
Fatal wrong-way collision in Prince George’s County
A fatal collision in Prince George's County resulted in the death of two individuals early Sunday morning, as reported by Maryland State Police. The incident, involving a gray Toyota RAV4 and a Jeep Grand Cherokee, occurred on northbound Route 4 at Woodyard Road around 3:30 a.m. on Sept. 14. Tragically, the driver of the RAV4 and a passenger in the Jeep lost their lives in the crash, while the Jeep's driver received medical attention at the scene. Initial investigations suggest that the RAV4 was traveling in the wrong direction on the road, leading to the head-on collision with the Jeep. At this time, authorities have not yet released the identities of the deceased individuals.
