Fatal Weekend Crash on I-95 North
Two 19-year-olds from Connecticut tragically lost their lives in a car accident on I-95 North near the West Warwick and East Greenwich border. The crash occurred on Saturday night when the vehicle veered off the road, spun, and hit a tree. Despite the rainy weather, emergency responders arrived at the scene around 11:40 p.m. to find all six occupants trapped in the vehicle. Unfortunately, the two passengers seated in the third row, Ayanna Voyak from Hartford and Aisha Jules from New London, succumbed to their injuries. The driver and three other passengers sustained injuries and were taken to Rhode Island Hospital. The Rhode Island State Police are currently investigating the incident.
