Fatal vehicle-pedestrian crash on Wells Branch Parkway under investigation

The collision occurred on July 25th at about 9:20 p.m. on Wells Branch Parkway, resulting in the death of the pedestrian. The driver remained at the scene and assisted authorities with the investigation. This marks Austin's 53rd fatal crash of this year, with a total of 57 fatalities. The case is still undergoing investigation as of Tuesday.
