Fatal Tyler crash captured on video after high-speed pursuit

In Smith County, Texas, a tragic incident occurred when a 17-year-old lost their life after being ejected from their vehicle during a high-speed chase on Highway 31. The Smith County Sheriff's Office informed KETK that the chase began after deputies observed a vehicle speeding at 124 miles per hour on Highway 31 West around 1:36 a.m. on Sunday. The pursuit concluded on Pleasant Hollow Road where the vehicle crashed. The driver, identified as 17-year-old Joel Munoz, was ejected from the vehicle along with a passenger.
