Fatal two-car collision in Clarksville

A 69-year-old man passed away and two individuals were seriously injured in a two-car crash that occurred in Clarksville on Wednesday morning. The collision occurred at about 11:21 a.m. at Purple Heart Parkway and Jordan Road, according to Clarksville Police Department. The roadway was closed for several hours to facilitate the landing of medical helicopters for transporting the crash victims. The incident involved a Nissan Altima and another vehicle, with three individuals from the Nissan being airlifted to Nashville for medical treatment. Unfortunately, David Frazier, a 69-year-old passenger in the Nissan, succumbed to his injuries. The Nissan's driver is currently in critical condition, while the third passenger is stable. The occupants of the second vehicle sustained minor injuries. Further details regarding the cause of the crash have not been disclosed.
