Fatal Turnpike crash claims Wichita man
A tragic accident on the Kansas Turnpike resulted in the death of a Wichita man. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the incident took place on Sunday evening in the southbound lanes of the turnpike in Osage County. The victim, 69-year-old Christian Kaufman, was riding a 2016 Harley-Davidson motorcycle when he veered off the road, causing the bike to overturn and catch fire. Unfortunately, Kaufman was ejected from the motorcycle and pronounced dead at the scene. The crash did not involve any other vehicles.
