
Fatal tour bus accident on I-90 in Pembroke
A tragic accident involving a bus on I-90 near Pembroke resulted in multiple fatalities and numerous injuries, including a child. Many passengers were found without seatbelts, leading to ejections and injuries. The bus was carrying 52 individuals of various nationalities, such as Indian, Chinese, and Filipino, on a trip from Niagara Falls to New York City. The crash caused the bus to veer into the median and overturn without colliding with any other vehicles. Emergency responders, including language interpreters, were deployed to assist. The affected stretch of I-90 was closed, with alternate routes advised, and medical facilities like ECMC, Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, Buffalo General, and Oishei Children’s Hospital received and treated patients, including some with minor injuries at the Indian Falls Fire Station.
