Fatal three vehicle crash in Crow Wing County leaves 18-year-old dead
A tragic incident occurred in Crow Wing as an 18-year-old lost their life last Friday night following a collision involving three vehicles at the intersection of County Road 1 and County Road 66. The Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office arrived on the scene at around 8:19 a.m. The initial findings suggest that the crash mainly involved a dump truck and an SUV. The dump truck was reportedly heading north on County Road 1 when an SUV entered from the south on County Road 66. Another SUV, which was making a turn from County Road 1 to County Road 66, was also involved in the collision. A passenger from the same vehicle was airlifted to North Air Care in critical condition, while another passenger in the rear of the vehicle was taken to a local hospital by a private party. The driver of the dump truck reportedly departed from the scene with their employer. The identities of those involved are being withheld as investigations continue.
