Fatal three-car collision on Grand Parkway
Early Saturday morning, a tragic three-vehicle collision occurred on the SH 99 Grand Parkway resulting in the death of a driver going the wrong way. The incident took place at around 1 a.m. in the 6900 block of SH 99. Reports from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office state that Kristin Watkins was driving a Nissan Altima in the opposite direction, leading to a collision with a Ford Ranger. The impact caused the Ranger to spin and be hit by a Volkswagen Atlas, causing the Ranger to overturn. Sadly, Watkins lost her life in the accident. The condition of the other drivers involved is currently unknown. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division is actively investigating the incident further.
