Fatal Sunrise Boulevard crash in Rancho Cordova, officials report
A fatal car accident occurred in Rancho Cordova on Friday night, as reported by the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office. The crash took place on Sunrise Boulevard just south of Gold Country Boulevard around 7 p.m. The driver of the vehicle involved in the accident has unfortunately passed away. At 9:30 p.m., Sunrise Boulevard was closed to southbound traffic from Gold Country Boulevard to River Drive.
