Fatal solo vehicle crash leaves 52-year-old man dead in Yuba County
(FOX40.COM) — Officers responded to a solo vehicle fatal crash in Yuba County on Saturday morning. According to the California Highway Patrol Yuba-Sutter, crews were dispatched to a solo vehicle rollover crash near State-Route 20 west of Too Handy Way around 1:45 a.m. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a Ford F-250 on its side blocking westbound and eastbound lanes. CHP stated that the 52-year-old man was ejected from the vehicle and died from his injuries. There were no witnesses to the crash. Moments later, a passerby noticed the crash and called 911. Authorities said that alcohol and drugs are not considered a factor in this crash. The driver's name will not be released until the next of kin has been notified.
