Fatal single-vehicle crash on northbound I-25 at RidgeGate Parkway reported by Lone Tree PD
A fatal single-car accident occurred on northbound Interstate 25 at RidgeGate Parkway Tuesday morning, resulting in the closure of the exit to RidgeGate Parkway. This closure caused traffic delays from Castle Rock and Castle Pines, with nearly an hour delay reported by 6:45 a.m. Only two lanes of the highway were open due to the heavy presence of first responders at the crash site, blocking the right lane. Denver7 Traffic Expert Jayson Luber warned drivers to anticipate ongoing delays throughout the morning. Luber suggested using Crowfoot Valley Road to access Parker Road from Castle Rock, Monarch Boulevard from Castle Pines, or Santa Fe Drive as alternative routes. The Lone Tree Police Department is currently investigating the crash.
