Fatal single-vehicle accident in Santa Ana results in 5 fatalities, 1 in critical condition
A tragic incident occurred in Santa Ana as five individuals lost their lives and a sixth person sustained critical injuries in a car crash. Late on Saturday, a single-vehicle collision took place on Segerstrom Avenue and Griset Place. Police were notified around 11:30 p.m. and arrived to find a vehicle that had struck a tree. The car, carrying five women and a male driver, was speeding westbound on Griset before the accident. Sadly, four occupants were declared dead on the scene, while two others were taken to the hospital, with one later passing away. Officer Garcia from the Santa Ana Police Department mentioned the possibility of the crash being linked to DUI, although investigations are ongoing. The victims' identities have not yet been disclosed.
