Fatal rollover crash on I-290 in Chicago, passenger killed
On Saturday night, a tragic accident occurred on the Eisenhower Expressway in Chicago, resulting in the death of an 18-year-old passenger. The crash occurred on Interstate 290 near Leavitt Street, close to the Illinois Medical District on the West Side of the city. According to the Illinois State Police, the car, traveling eastbound, struck a curb causing it to roll over around 10 p.m. The passenger, identified as Noah Alicea by the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office, was taken to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The driver was unharmed, and details are still unclear regarding why the car was on the shoulder.
