Fatal rollover crash in Murray under investigation
A fatal accident occurred on Saturday afternoon on 5300 South in Murray, resulting in the death of one person. The incident is currently being investigated. An SUV traveling east on 5300 South made a left turn onto Woodrow Street, heading north, when it was struck by a truck traveling west. The truck rolled over, with three occupants inside. While two occupants of the truck fled the scene on foot, the third was partially ejected and stuck in the vehicle. This occupant was taken to the hospital but unfortunately passed away. The two SUV occupants suffered minor injuries. One of the truck occupants who left the scene was located and taken to a different hospital. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
