Fatal rollover crash in Geauga County leaves one dead, two injured
A tragic two-car rollover crash in Chardon resulted in one fatality and injuries to two others, as reported by Chardon Fire Department Chief Justin Geiss. The incident occurred around 9:11 a.m. on Thursday at the intersection of Route 608 and Chardon-Windsor Road. By the time the fire department arrived, two victims had escaped their vehicles while one remained trapped. Two individuals were taken to Geauga Hospital for treatment, while the third victim sadly passed away at the scene. Geiss mentioned plans to upgrade the intersection to a four-way stop in the near future. The Ohio State Highway Patrol is currently investigating the cause of the accident. Chief Geiss expressed condolences to all affected by the tragic event and assured the community's ongoing commitment to their safety and well-being.
