Fatal Riverside Crash Involving Suspected DUI Driver and Truck Operator
Riverside Police Department reported a crash involving a suspected DUI driver that resulted in the death of a 46-year-old man in Riverside. The incident occurred on April 10 at approximately 9:35 p.m. near Washington Street and Gladstone Boulevard. The suspect, a 32-year-old man from Norco, was driving a Chevrolet pickup truck with a horse trailer when he collided with the man's Volkswagen sedan while making a sharp left turn. The victim, a Riverside resident, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Chevy truck was apprehended for suspected DUI, with authorities believing that impairment and excessive speed played a role in the accident.
