A tragic incident occurred over the weekend in upstate New York when a private plane carrying a family of medical professionals and accomplished student-athletes crashed in a muddy field in Copake. The passengers, including Karenna Groff, a former MIT soccer player and 2022 NCAA woman of the year, were on their way to the Catskills for a special birthday celebration and to observe the Passover holiday.
