Fatal plane crash in Monterey County claims lives of all 3 people aboard

Three individuals were tragically found deceased following a plane crash in Monterey County. The Coast Guard reported that search and rescue teams located the three passengers after the crash was alerted to them late Saturday night. The incident involved a twin-engine Beechcraft that had gone down off Point Pinos. Recovery efforts continued into Sunday until all three passengers were successfully retrieved. The Coast Guard clarified that the airplane had departed from San Carlos airport, with reports of the crash received by local authorities around 10 p.m. The victims were identified as 60-year-old Steve Eugene Clatterbuck from Salinas, 36-year-old James Vincent, and 44-year-old Jamie Lee Tabscott from Monterey. The Monterey County Sheriff's Office conveyed the family's appreciation for the community's support during this challenging time and requested privacy. The National Transportation Safety Board has taken over the investigation into the crash.
