Fatal pedestrian struck by vehicle in Modesto
A man was discovered deceased following a collision involving a vehicle and pedestrian in the early hours of Tuesday near Yosemite Boulevard and Santa Barbara Avenue, according to the Modesto Police Department. Upon notification of the incident, patrol officers responded to the area and found the adult male pedestrian in the street. The collision occurred as a Modesto man was driving east on Yosemite Boulevard. The driver stayed at the scene and is currently being examined as part of an initial inquiry.
