Fatal pedestrian crash near Shenandoah Park, Miami according to police
A fatal incident took place near Shenandoah Park where a pedestrian lost their life and two others were injured in a crash involving three vehicles. The Miami Police Department reported that the collision occurred at the 21st Avenue and 19th Street intersection around 7 p.m. on Tuesday. After striking the pedestrian, who was declared deceased at the scene, the vehicle involved hit a parked vehicle. This parked vehicle then collided with an ice cream truck that had occupants inside. Both the female passenger of the ice cream truck and the male driver of the first vehicle were taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital's trauma center by Miami Fire Rescue services. The individual who reportedly tried to leave the scene was apprehended before being sent to the trauma center by Miami Fire Rescue. Law enforcement set up a perimeter to secure the area as the investigation progresses, with no further information presently available.
