Fatal pedestrian accident shuts down eastbound lanes of I-275 on Wednesday morning
The traffic on the eastbound lanes of I-275 has been restored following a tragic incident near Forest Park on Tuesday. Unfortunately, an unidentified male pedestrian passed away due to the crash. The closure, which occurred from around 6 a.m. to after 8 a.m. Wednesday morning, led to traffic diversions as crews blocked off the highway with orange cones, redirecting drivers onto Hamilton Avenue. Currently, traffic remains congested on I-275, extending beyond Colerain Avenue. Authorities have not yet provided any details regarding the cause of the accident.
