Fatal pedestrian accident on West Broadway in Missoula
A portion of West Broadway has been closed off following a tragic incident where a pedestrian was struck and killed by an SUV around noon on Tuesday. The event took place on the stretch of West Broadway between Citi Lodge motel and the Poverello Center. Traffic diversions are in effect while the Missoula Police Department looks into the matter, prompting the closure of that road section as of 12:45 p.m. The victim's identity has not yet been disclosed, while the driver of the SUV is being interviewed at the Missoula Police Department as per protocol for such fatal accidents.
