Fatal pedestrian accident on I-75 - Gulf Coast News and Weather
The Florida Highway Patrol was called to a tragic accident on Thursday night on Interstate 75 northbound, just north of Alico Road in Lee County. The incident involved a pedestrian and a vehicle around 10:44 p.m. The pedestrian was hit in the left lane while attempting to cross the interstate after being involved in another crash where their vehicle overturned. The authorities are still investigating to piece together the exact chain of events. As of now, all lanes have been reopened.
