Fatal pedestrian accident near Paddock Mall in Ocala
Unfortunately, there was a fatal incident involving a pedestrian who was struck and killed by a vehicle close to the Paddock Mall in Ocala. The Ocala Police Department reported that the accident occurred at approximately 5:30 a.m. on Thursday on State Road 200 near SW College Road. As a result, all eastbound lanes in the vicinity of the 3100 block of SW College Road have been shut down. Motorists are advised to utilize SW 20th Street as an alternate route.
