Fatal Northridge crash injures several people
A fatal multi-vehicle collision occurred in Northridge on Wednesday night, resulting in the tragic death of a motorcyclist and hospitalization of three others. The Los Angeles police were called to the scene at the intersection of Tampa Avenue and Lassen Street around 6:23 p.m. According to Sky5 footage, a Toyota sedan and a Ford SUV were involved in a head-on collision, with the motorcyclist being thrown from their bike. Tragically, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead by LAPD at the scene. The three other individuals involved were taken to the hospital in serious condition. All vehicles sustained significant damage, especially the motorcycle which appeared to be completely destroyed. The identity of the motorcyclist has not been disclosed.
