Fatal Newport Crash: One Dead, Two Injured
Authorities in Newport, NY responded to a fatal car accident that occurred on Tuesday evening. The incident involved two vehicles on Butler Road, resulting in one death and injuries to two individuals. The driver of the first vehicle lost control on a curve and collided head-on with the second vehicle. The deceased driver was identified as 59-year-old Rodney Dodge of Utica. The driver of the first vehicle, 32-year-old Justin Doxtader, was airlifted to Upstate University Hospital, while another passenger, 27-year-old Dale Dodge was taken to a local hospital. Both individuals are expected to recover from their injuries.
