Fatal multi-vehicle accident on I-25 north near I-70: Denver police
Authorities in Denver declared a person deceased following a collision on the northbound lanes of Interstate 25 near 44th Avenue on Friday night. The Denver Police Department reported the incident involving multiple vehicles occurred around 8 p.m. Eyewitnesses observed at least four vehicles involved in the crash. By 10:30 p.m., the Colorado Department of Transportation had shut down all northbound lanes of I-25 between Park Avenue and Interstate 70. As of the same time, significant police presence was still in the area, with no clear indication of when the road would reopen. The northbound express lanes of I-25, however, remained accessible for traffic at 10:30 p.m.
