Fatal multi-car crash closes road near Aloha

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- Southwest Farmington Road was closed near Aloha after a deadly crash early Wednesday morning. According to the Washington County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to the crash on Southwest Farmington Road and SW 190th Avenue just before 1:30 a.m., where two cars had crashed head-on. Investigators at the scene said they learned 62-year-old Rene Jones was driving west on Farmington Road when he left his lane and went into the eastbound lane, crashing head-on into another car. Jones was killed in the crash, and the driver of the other car was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A third car was also involved in the crash, but no one was injured, authorities said. Farmington Road was closed for several hours Wednesday morning while the crash was under investigation. Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to contact the Washington County Sheriff's Office.
