
Fatal multi-car collision on 405 Freeway in Brentwood
A fatal multi-vehicle accident occurred on the 405 Freeway near Brentwood early Saturday morning, leading to one fatality. The California Highway Patrol responded to the incident at 3:18 a.m. on the northbound 405 Freeway at the Skirball Center Drive exit. The crash involved multiple vehicles, including a black four-door sedan, a blue Toyota RAV4, a gold Toyota Corolla, and a gray Toyota. Reports indicated that the victim was ejected from one of the vehicles and was pronounced dead at the scene. The CHP issued a SigAlert, closing three lanes for hours while investigating the collision. All lanes have reopened, and the victim's identity and the cause of the crash are still being looked into by authorities. The CHP is continuing its investigation into the circumstances of the accident.
