Chula Vista, California— A tragic accident occurred on Monday night on Interstate 805 in Chula Vista, resulting in the loss of one life. The California Highway Patrol reported that the collision involving a motorcycle and several vehicles occurred around 8 p.m. near Telegraph Canyon Road. The CHP indicated that a red Tesla and at least two other vehicles were part of the crash. While confirming the fatality, a CHP representative provided no additional details. To facilitate the investigation, the CHP closed lanes 1-3, causing a sig alert that was still in place at 5 a.m. It was anticipated that the lanes would reopen by 8 a.m.
