UPDATE: Southpark Road has been reopened for travel between West Pinhook Road and American Boulevard.——————————————————A motorcyclist died in a crash in Lafayette on Saturday evening. Lafayette Police Department responded to the incident on Southpark Road, where the motorcyclist was found deceased. The police are currently conducting an initial investigation. Due to the crash, a section of Southpark Road was closed, but it has since been reopened. Further information is pending, and KATC will provide updates as they become available.
